Projects more than 10 hours in duration require a deposit (except for retainer clients). 

For our Theme and App development projects, we base payments on project milestones, typically 2 to 4.

Monthly Maintenance Retainers are a thing of the past, and truly force teams to “find” a project for their maintenance teams to accomplish -- otherwise, you may feel like you are overpaying. 

In lieu of a monthly retainer, Text Connects offers a fixed-hour, development retainer. Your team gets a block of time and you can choose the most effective use of that time; maybe you need help updating the content on your store, reviewing your analytics, providing a strategy moving forward, or help installing / configuring that new app you have been looking at.

Our retainers are pre-paid and come in 10-, 20-, 30-, and 50-hour blocks -- plus, the hours NEVER expire. Use an hour today and then use more as the holidays approach.

Outside of our normal hours, we charge a minimum of 3 hours at 300% of our standard  hourly rate.

We will correct any bugs caused by our source code or data developed or modified by our team at no charge for a period of thirty days following the launch of such code into a live environment.

While you are a client of Text Connects, we will provide you with an online-interactive knowledge base and documentation on all changes and updates made to your store – including operational details so you can effectively run your store without any help from our team. 

After 180 days of no new changes, we reserve the right to convert the online knowledge base into a PDF format and email you a copy, removing the online version to keep our Knowledge Base well organized.

For now, Text Connects is not interested in a trade of our work for equity in your company. We don’t want to be distracted from our main business and areas of expertise. (Though we hope your IPO share price is phenomenal and we can bask in your success!)  With that said, we work with many startups with short “runways” or demanding requirements and are always happy to learn more about your business and discuss how our team can provide value with our paid services.

We are happy to accept files from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and other online file sharing services. If you do not have any way to share, we can provide you with a Dropbox link that allows you to send us all your files – without a Dropbox account.
